My perspective as a conscious designer is informed by an education in Human Centered Design & Engineering and Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies at the University of Washington. The intersection of my studies represents a curiosity to explore, practice, and advocate for feminist methodology in UI/UX.
Beyond my passion for equitable design, I am motivated to engage in outreach experiences that prioritize underserved communities. After years of various educational positions engaging with youth, I find myself inspired by young minds and their dedication to creative thinking. I strive to channel this spirit into my own aspirations as a woman of color navigating the tech industry.
Hi! I’m Pukhraj, a Seattle-based creative.
I believe in radical, ethical, & sustainable solutions.
When I’m offline, you can find me brewing & flavoring my weekly batch of kombucha, cooking up a meal, reading a SFF novel, or taking my camera for a walk.
My design experience involves work in non-profit, start-up, and academic spaces.
I have led design teams for long-term projects and in high-impact environments. These opportunities have taught me to exercise design thinking, critical decision-making, and meaningful collaboration.
